Study Abroad 2023 in Milan, Italy - Vincent Mazzone

Vincent Mazzone is an undergraduate accounting student from China Grove, North Carolina.

Traveling with the College of Business’ study abroad class to Italy involved many different types of transportation. First, we eagerly waited in the airports of RDU and JFK for our flights to Milan, where we were greeted by bus after we disembarked from the plane. The coach bus around the city was the start of it all; Italy’s metro system was enormous, crowded, fast-paced, and lively. Our guide, Andrea, introduced us to the widespread culture and atmosphere the metro offers. Next, over the next couple of days, I took the high-speed train to meet everyone, which was an amazing experience itself! Getting to see not only the metro but the Central station too was phenomenal. Lastly, we used the trolly bus to make our way back from Prada, wrapping up all of our transportation needs and uses. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone, as it was an experience I’ll never forget!
