2023 Study Abroad in Italy - Madison Rupp
Madison Rupp is from Greenville, North Carolina, and is an Arthur MBA candidate
Today, our study abroad trip to Italy took us to the Domasino winery in Lake Como. The winery is surrounded by stunning views of the lake and the Italian Alps. It was interesting to hear about the history of the family that runs the small business that currently has 15 employees.
We were served a four-course meal, each course accompanied by a different wine. We also got to sample their locally produced olive oil and cheese. This was such an impactful visit because hearing about the process of the creation of wine from start to finish is much more personal compared to purchasing wine at a Walmart.
