2023 Study Abroad in Italy - Zain Aguirre
Zain Aguirre is a management student and is from Sanford, North Carolina
During my study abroad in Italy, I visited the Lamborghini Museum, which displayed a variety of car models throughout the years. Lamborghini has always been a favorite car brand of mine from an early age. I have never been as close to a Lamborghini as I was today, and it seemed almost surreal to be surrounded by all these beautiful vehicles. I would like to think I am knowledgeable when it comes to Lamborghini, but I learned a lot that I was unaware of. For example, I learned that the founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini, reached out to the founder of Ferrari in attempts to work alongside him to create a new car but was turned down. This rejection sparked a fire in Ferruccio and he was determined to create a super car on his own which lead to the birth of Lamborghini in 1963. This is a prime example that with a vision and dedication anything is possible regardless of others.
