Accelerate Rural NC - '22 - '23 update

Accelerate Rural NC is a Miller School, Crisp Center and ECU-backed initiative focused on connecting rural entrepreneurs with the rapidly growing digital marketplace. We believe in fostering economic growth and self-sufficiency in rural communities by bridging the gap between these communities and the global e-commerce ecosystem. Our mission is to support entrepreneurs and their digital business efforts, empower local economies, and contribute to a more equitable distribution of wealth and resources.

Background: Rural areas in NC have long struggled with limited access to resources, infrastructure, and opportunities compared to their urban counterparts. Recognizing this disparity, Accelerate Rural NC is dedicated to leveling the playing field by promoting and supporting rural entrepreneurs who have the potential to transform their communities. We strive to provide the tools, resources, and support necessary for these entrepreneurs to thrive in the digital age.

Our partnership with ECU, USDA and NC IDEA: Accelerate Rural NC is excited to continue its partnership with some of the leading entrepreneurial organizations in North Carolina. We believe that this collaboration will help amplify our impact and extend its reach to rural entrepreneurs in eastern North Carolina and beyond.
