Saying Goodbye to Ann Fisher and Len Rhodes

During the COB’ End-of-Year Social and Retirement Recognition Ceremony on April 23, faculty and staff gathered to honor two longtime faculty members for their dedicated service.

Ann Fisher is retiring after more than 27 years at ECU. Since joining the College in 1997, she served in several key roles, including director of professional programs and teaching instructor in finance. She coordinated executive education courses, led College events and publications, built alumni and donor relations, and taught Financial Management to undergraduate business majors. Since 2016, she has also served as scholarship administrator, overseeing the College’s scholarship program and continuing her work in the classroom. Fisher’s career reflects a deep commitment to student success and the ECU community.

Len Rhodes is retiring after 25 years with the COB. Most recently, he served as executive director of graduate programs for the Thomas D. Arthur Graduate School of Business. Over the years, he held roles including director of technology, information and operations; director of institutional research; and assistant dean of graduate programs. He joined the College in 2000 as an instructor after earning his MBA in 1999. A dedicated educator and financial literacy advocate, Rhodes coauthored books and articles on personal finance and helped develop a national certification for educators. His legacy is marked by a steadfast dedication to student growth and academic excellence.
