Miller School Students Support Region


Leaning on the Miller School of Entrepreneurship applied research expertise, the Crisp Small Business Resource Center provides ECU’s students and community the best practices and proven knowledge required to start and sustain enterprises in eastern North Carolina.

During the fall 2019 semester, Miller School students deployed around 60 students to work with 11 clients in eastern North Carolina. They accumulated over 5,500 student service-learning hours while serving businesses in Edgecombe, Wayne, Pitt, Beaufort, Wilson, Martin and Pamlico counties.

Some of the clients included Penco Products in Pitt and Martin counties, Iconic Marine Group, Endurance Seafood and Mercer Glass.
