Bae and Deale win best paper award

Drs. Stephanie Bae and Cynthia Deale won the Best Paper at the Spring SECSA CHRIE conference. The title of the paper for Southeast CHRIE was “Undergraduate students’ views of effective online hospitality instructors: A scholarship of teaching and learning study”.

This Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) study investigated undergraduate hospitality students’ perspectives of effective online teaching. The 129 respondents indicated that behaviors connected to availability were most important while the least important attributes and behaviors varied. The results have implications for teaching and learning.
