Paul to Direct Global Affairs

Dr. Ravi Paul, Associate Professor in the Department of Management Information Systems, has been appointed as Executive Director of Global Affairs, effective May 23 through the end of the 2016 calendar year. He will continue his faculty duties in the college during this interim appointment.

Notably, Dr. Paul received the highest teaching award at ECU in 2012, the University of North Carolina Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching, one among a host of other accolades for his commitment to excellence in the classroom.

During this interim period, Paul will provide leadership to the Office of International Affairs. Additionally, having served as a lead on the workgroup which produced a report in response to the University Committee on the Fiscal Sustainability recommendation with regard to international opportunities at ECU (UCFS CR4, Dec 8, 2015), he will be a vital resource as work commences to implement the recommendations.
