COB Students Place at 2016 SHRM Case Competition

The ECU Society for Human Resource Management entered two teams at the 2016 SHRM Eastern Student Case Competition held in Atlanta, Georgia. The undergraduate team, led by Rachel Ionta, placed 7th of 16 teams, placing ahead of schools such as Penn State, University of Tennessee and Texas A&M. The graduate team, led by Shannon Zamary, placed 3rd of 12 teams, placing ahead of schools such as New York Institute of Technology and Texas A&M. Each team had to prepare and submit a written analysis of an assigned case, and present their suggestions to judges. Dr. Craig Williams served as faculty advisor and coach to both teams.
