Steve Hood, Senior Vice President of Research and Director of the SHARE Center (http://www.strglobal.com/products/share-center/en-GB) for STR Global (http://www.strglobal.com/) visited the ECU campus September 27 and 28 as a guest speaker in several School of Hospitality Leadership courses.
STR Global is the Leading hotel data firm in the world. Mr. Hood presented global hospitality and tourism data trends in HMGT 2100 Lodging I: Dr. Jay Lee, HMGT 1350 Introduction to Hospitality; Dr. Cynthia Deale, and HMGT 2170 Service Management; Ms. Terrie Hamilton, each presentation geared to the class.
Hood also met with School of Hospitality Leadership faculty and discussed uses and availability of STR Global data for teaching and research.
