Greenville TAP Open for Registration

If you’re an alumnus of the School of Hospitality Leadership (SHL) and/or a tourism and hospitality professional, registration for the March 20 Greenville TAP Greenville Tourism Ambassador Program (TAP) is now open.

Greenville TAP is a month-long initiative for business owners, industrial managers, front-line employees, students and anyone who is vested in the Greenville community.

This year’s Greenville TAP program includes:

  • an educational seminar about the Greenville-Pitt County Convention & Visitors Bureau, the tourism and hospitality industry and customer service;
  • three familiarization tours of tourism attractions in the Uptown District, Greenville and Pitt County;
  • an optional Tar River kayaking session; and
  • a graduation ceremony at our annual National Travel and Tourism Week Luncheon in May.

Dr. Cynthia Deale, an SHL professor, leads the instruction for the program. The TAP program was designed by students in SHL’s Master of Science in Sustainable Tourism & Hospitality program as a class project working with Dr. Deale.
