SHL's Advisory Board Meets

The Spring 2018 meeting of the School of Hospitality Leadership’s (SHL) Advisory Board was held Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. at ECU’s Murphy Center. Seventeen industry partners representing hospitality companies from multiple sectors attended the meeting. John Van Coutren, co-chair of the SHL’s Advisory Board lead the interaction and discussion.

Discussions included the SHL dashboard, enrollments, recruitment strategies, fundraising and much more. The SHL student organizations also sent representatives to provide club update and activity reports.

According to SHL director, Dr. Bob O’Halloran, “It was a great discussion and great support for the school.”
