Boccia's Virtual Technology Article in Hotel Management Magazine

Mark Boccia, Vice President of Learning and Development at Marriott International, and part-time Teaching Instructor in the School of Hospitality Leadership was featured in the Training Trends column of the May 2, 2017 issue of Hotel Management magazine, the leading hospitality news authority.

His article titled Reduce Repair Costs with Virtual Technology details how innovative learning technologies using virtual reality can help to identify potential engineering and structural issues using high-level graphics, animation, video, and screen actors to explain technical concepts using everyday language and virtual reality practice exercises.

Additionally, Boccia’s article was featured in a blog post of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART). CHART consists of more than 450 members from over 300 of the nation’s top multi-unit restaurant and lodging companies and provides personal and professional development experiences for members.
