Online MBA Program Achieves Rankings

The College’s online MBA program continues to garner accolades.

Businessstudent.com just ranked COB’s MBA program No. 8 nationally (and No. 2 in the Southeast) in its 2019 Editors’ Choice Online MBA Programs report.

To help determine the report’s final methodology, more than 100 current, future and past business students and professionals were interviewed. They were asked a series of questions on what they felt were important criteria if they were to select an online MBA program. Some of those surveyed were already enrolled in an online MBA program. The top three criteria included cost, accreditation and acceptance rate followed by student support and engagement during the program. The survey was conducted over a three-month period.

Data also was collected from over 300 schools to determine the rankings.

Online MBA Report also ranked the online program No. 3 in the state of North Carolina and No. 17 in the south. To determine these rankings, Online MBA Report evaluated more than 300 institutions and looked at criteria such as academic reputation, value, selectivity, program quality and enrollment numbers.

Said Paul Russell, COB’s director for graduate programs, “These rankings validate what we’ve known for many years. The ECU MBA is a high-quality degree that is delivered to students at a great value and with a great ROI or return on the individual.”

“Students in our program benefit from a host of certificate options, low tuition costs and flexibility in scheduling,” Russell added.

ECU’s College of Business is located in Greenville, North Carolina and currently has more than 28,000 alumni throughout the United States. It’s one of the largest colleges of business in North Carolina.
