Patrick McKay teaches leadership during in-person seminar

Less than six months after its launch, COB’s Office of Expert Services is well on its way to becoming the go-to source for professional development and organizational growth. Below are the highlights.

  • Emily Yeager with the Crisp Center received $106,000 in funding from The NC Department of Commerce to work with their Creating Outdoor Recreation Economies Program.
  • Lucky Xue was made the PI with Brody Telehealth to finish the work on the HRSA Telehealth and Care Coordination Project grant, totaling more than $1.1M. 
  • Jason Rowe is a CO-PI with CET on their EPA grant on Pollution Prevention and Environmental Justice Strategies for Sustainable and Green Manufacturing, totaling more than $550,000.
  • Jason Rowe and other faculty are consulting with the North Carolina Pandemic Recovery Office on three separate projects, worth almost $150,000. 
  • Andrew Herdman consulted with Topbuild by hosting a Leadership Development and Team Building training workshop.
  • Andrew Herdman, Kent Alipour and Patrick McKay launched the inaugural  21st Century Leadership Micro-Credential workshop this past March.
