Post a Job or Internship
Post any employment opportunities on our online job search portal, Handshake. The first step is to register your company in Handshake.
Using Handshake, you can register for career fairs, request interview schedules, and post job and internship opportunities that are visible to all ECU undergraduates, graduate students and alumni.
Interview Students
On campus interviews are offered to attract qualified candidates for internship and full-time opportunities. All on-campus interviews are posted and managed through Handshake, which allows employers to easily request schedules, review resumes, manage interview selections, and contact students.
The Cunanan Center for Professional Success also provides “Practice” or “Mock” Interviews as a service to allow students to develop interview skills and receive constructive feedback from an employer. Both students and employers find this experience to be very rewarding; and students find it extremely helpful in honing interview skills.

Increase Your Visibility
Information & Networking Sessions
A job description can only say so much. Information sessions are a great way to promote your company’s history, culture, structure, and benefits. They also provide an opportunity to network with students interested in your company. We hold specialized networking events where employers are welcome to host mixers or speaker presentations. We also welcome employers to our spring networking event focused on careers and internships in business fields. Employers in the Foyer Sessions
Each semester, we host Employer in the Foyer sessions where visiting employers meet with students on the first floor of the Bate building. The informal environment offers a comfortable and inviting atmosphere where employers are more approachable as students pass by between classes. This has proven to be highly successful from both the employer and student perspective.
