Dr. Davidson Gillette is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the East Carolina University College of Business. His research interests include experimental and archival tax and financial topics and have been published in journals including Contemporary Accounting Research and the Journal of Financial Reporting. His teaching focuses on financial accounting. He is engaged in service activities on college and departmental committees and with the ECU Brinkley-Lane Scholars program and Honors College. Prior to academia, he worked for KPMG in the Virginia region, and he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in North Carolina and Virginia. He holds a Ph.D. from The University of Alabama and a BA and MSA from East Carolina University.
