Dr. Lee Grubb is Professor and Senior Associate Dean of the College of Business. He received his PhD in Management from Virginia Commonwealth University and has an MBA from Averett University and a BA in Managerial Economics from Hampden-Sydney College. His research focuses on individual characteristics, leadership and the imposter phenomenon.  His research has been published in journals such as Psychological Reports, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Small Business Strategy, Small Business Institute Journal, International Leadership Journal and the American Journal of Management.

Prior to entering academia, Dr. Grubb worked in the health insurance industry for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Virginia and First Health in Richmond, Virginia. In private industry he served in different roles where he managed call centers and other customer service departments
