Jenna Seung Hyun Lee

Seung Hyun “Jenna” Lee is an associate professor in the School of Hospitality Leadership at East Carolina University. Dr. Lee is a graduate of the University of Central Florida where she obtained Ph.D. in Hospitality Management, and she has M.S. and B.S. in Hospitality Management from University of Nevada Las Vegas.

Prior to joining academia in 2010, she worked in the lodging, food & beverage and airline industries. At East Carolina University, Dr. Lee teaches hospitality law, hospitality management current issues seminar, hospitality marketing, and graduate courses. Her main area of research has been decision-making, revenue management, value perception, lodging operation, social media, and hospitality education, and she has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles.

She currently serves on the board of the International Council of Hotel, Restaurant, and Institutional Education (ICHRIE) as Director of Research in 2020-2022.
