University Commencement Ceremony

The University Commencement Ceremony, the one and only official Commencement Ceremony, will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 10:00 am in Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium. The RSVP process will open in March 2025.

  • Complete your application for graduation with the registrar’s office (if not already completed): APPLY TO GRADUATE
  • Register for the University Commencement Ceremony: RSVP will open in March 2025
  • Register for the College of Business Graduate Recognition Ceremony by March 24th: RSVP HERE FOR COB CEREMONIES!

Tickets:

Tickets are required for the COB graduate recognition ceremony.  Each graduate will receive 6 tickets (graduates do not need a ticket).  Infants and children up to age 3 that can sit on a lap will not need a ticket.  On-campus students will pick up their tickets at the Central Ticket Office (CTO) on the first floor of the Main Student Center, dates will be sent.  Distance education tickets will be mailed once we receive them.  You will be notified when your tickets are mailed.  The mailing address used is the one you submitted when you completed your application for graduation.  Please update your address in the system if it has changed since you completed your application for graduation.  Additional tickets may be available after ticket pick-up has ended in early May.  There is no guarantee that there will be extra tickets.  If you need additional tickets, please complete the EXTRA TICKET REQUEST FORM  You will be notified if/when extra tickets become available in early May
