University Commencement Ceremony

East Carolina University will host the University Commencement Ceremony at Minges Coliseum on December 19 at 10:00 a.m. to recognize and celebrate the Class of 2025.

COB Departmental Recognition Ceremonies:

All COB Ceremonies will be held in the Main Campus Student Center Ballrooms on December 19th.

Check list to participate in the Commencement festivities!

    1. Complete your application for graduation with the registrar’s office (if you have not already done so): APPLY TO GRADUATE
    2. Register for the University Commencement Ceremony – the RSVP link will be active around the 1st of October and can be found at  RSVP HERE FOR UNIVERSITY COMMENCEMENT
    3. Register for the COB Graduate Recognition Ceremonies. Please RSVP for COB departmental recognition ceremonies by 5:00 pm on Monday, November 3rd: RSVP HERE FOR COB CEREMONIES!

Tickets:

Ticket Distribution

  • Each graduate will receive 5 guest tickets.
  • Graduating students do not need a ticket to enter the ceremony.
  • Children ages 3 and under who can sit on a lap do not need a ticket.
  • You must complete the RSVP prior to picking up your tickets!


On-Campus (Face-to-Face) Students

You may pick up your 5 guest tickets at the Central Ticket Office in the Main Student Center beginning October 27 – December 3, 2025.

  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Please bring your 1 Card or a valid photo ID.
  • All graduates are guaranteed their 5 tickets if picked up by December 3. Extra tickets will be distributed after December 3rd – ticket allotments will not be guaranteed after that date.

Online Students

Students coded as online will have their tickets mailed to them and will receive a notification once tickets are on the way.

Even if you live in Greenville, if your student record is coded as online, your tickets will be mailed — they will not be available at the Central Ticket Office.

Requesting Extra Tickets

If you need additional tickets, please complete the EXTRA TICKET REQUEST form.
We cannot guarantee extra tickets. Availability will be determined after December 3 once ticket pickup ends.
You will be notified immediately if additional tickets become available, along with pickup instructions.
