Step 1: Apply to Graduate if you haven’t already
You can find instructions on how to apply at https://registrar.ecu.edu/apply-to-graduate/.
Note: This application is to inform the Office of the Registrar of the term you will have all degree requirements met, how you want your name displayed on your diploma, and where to mail it.
Step 2: RSVP for a COB Graduation Ceremony
Fill out the RSVP at https://go.ecu.edu/COBGRCSP26
Deadline: Monday, April 6th
Note: It is a formal ceremony where your name will be called and you will cross the stage! If you are a double major in the COB, you will pick one ceremony to attend. You will not be allowed to attend multiple COB ceremonies!
Step 3: RSVP to University Commencement
The RSVP will be available in March at https://commencement.ecu.edu.
Note: Commencement is the official university-wide ceremony to recognize and celebrate the Class of 2026. All majors are welcome to attend but be aware graduates will be recognized by College, not individually.
University Commencement Ceremony
East Carolina University will host the University Commencement Ceremony at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on May 8 at 10:00 a.m. to recognize and celebrate the Class of 2026.
