Lodging Management

The lodging industry is a world wide career opportunity. Lodging operations range from Bed and Breakfast Inns and entrepreneurship opportunities to positions with corporate giants like Marriott, Hilton, and InterContinental.

Career opportunities exist on the corporate side and the franchise side of the business from the front desk, to sales, or back of the house in housekeeping and maintenance.

The BS in Hospitality Management with a concentration in Lodging Management is taught in a traditional face-to-face environment and via distance education.

Admission Requirements

Must complete HMGT 1350 with a grade of C – or better.     CHECKSHEET

Other Requirements

All Hospitality Leadership majors must complete an externship (after sophomore year) and an internship (prior to senior year).
