Department of Finance and Insurance
The Department of Finance and Insurance provides support in the areas of managerial finance, banking, financial services, risk management, business law and real estate. Students develop applied and theoretical knowledge as the basis for successful financial management of both large and small organizations and in providing financial services to both individuals and financial institutions.
The department offers two concentrations: Finance and Risk Management & Insurance. Each concentration furnishes professional education in relevant methods of financial management, preparing students to enter fields where they apply financial concepts to help solve problems and find solutions.
