Financial Assistance Options

When it comes to paying for your education at East Carolina University, students have many options.  Oftentimes, students can offset the cost of their tuition via grants, scholarships, loans, student employment, as well as college/departmental scholarships.

Students in need of financial assistance are encouraged to explore support through the three main avenues outlined below:

Office of Student Financial Aid provides education, guidance, and support to individuals and families in the financial aid process. This office administers Federal, State, and Institutional aid programs to students at East Carolina University.

College of Business Scholarships are available to both undergraduate and graduate business students and are awarded in the spring . Scholarship amounts range from $250 to $5,000 and include both need-based aid as well as merit-based aid. An application must be completed in early February to be considered. In addition to the annual College of Business scholarships, scholarships are also issued to Business Scholars, Graduate Business Students, and Study Abroad scholarships.

Student Employment Office (SEO) provides support to the entire campus community through the hiring process of ECU student employees. SEO maintains an online database to help ECU students connect with part-time job opportunities both on and off campus.
