Greetings from Interim Dean Schwager

At the College of Business, we are forging ahead with a new direction in leadership. This direction is based on a solid foundation that laid roots 75 years ago.

This direction will help you succeed, help you become the next great leader.

For decades, we’ve successfully engaged students with the technical material necessary for success in the business world. Following the lead of today’s economy, we emphasize leadership, professionalism, entrepreneurship and communication skills, along with the nuts and bolts of business. We’ve set the bar high, with personalized support coming from a network of advisors and coaches who actively volunteer in our Leadership & Professional Development Program.

This program, along with our Miller School of Entrepreneurship, is breaking new ground in the College of Business. Both reflect how dedicated we are to teaching you, a future leader of tomorrow.

We are the largest College of Business in North Carolina and there’s a reason for that. Students and industry know we build leaders. You’ll know this, too, when you land your career job upon graduation.

I encourage you to explore our website and learn more about all we have to offer. We look forward to welcoming you to Pirate Country.

Sincerely,
Paul Schwager, PhD
