Certificates for Non-COB ECU Grad Students

This page is designed as a resource for current ECU graduate students who are enrolled in master degrees outside of the College of Business.

MA Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology Students

For I/O Psychology students who want to earn a Business Analytics certificate, these 4 courses would count as their program electives.

MIS 6873 and MIS 6913 serve as prerequisites for the other two courses in the Business Analytics certificate, MIS 6903 and MIS 6933.

To add a certificate to your degree program, you will need to complete this form. There is no charge to do so. Once approved, you will receive an email notification and the certificate will be listed in DegreeWorks. Note that in order to receive the certificate, you must maintain a 3.0 GPA in the certificate courses as well as the degree program.

I/O Psychology students can also take these COB electives or any of the Business Analytics certificates courses without pursuing the certificate.

MGMT 6832 – Human Resources

MGMT 6842 – Leading with Ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility

MGMT 6102 – Comparative Management

MGMT 6802 – Organizational Behavior

MS Quantitative Economics and Econometrics Students

MS Economics students can take Business Analytics electives without pursuing the certificate. Because the degree requires coursework that complements these courses, MS Economics students who have completed their first semester of the program can bypass any pre-requisites.
