This 2-hour workshop will walk through Mplus syntax and output for those who have not used Mplus before or want to build more comfort with using Mplus for configural factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation models (SEM). This session will not go over all the modeling steps of CFA and SEM (see Dr. Alex Schoemann’s session Week 2 for the steps); it will go through the syntax for estimating different parameters (factor loadings, residuals, means, correlations, regression coefficients) and constraining parameters (to each other across groups or to a specific value). Workshop conducted by Dr. Whitney Moore.
