The Certificate requires the following 12 sh:
Social Core:
SMGT 6106 – Contemporary Sport (Fall; Summer)
Two courses chosen from Foundational Core:
- SMGT 6001 – Administration of Intercollegiate Athletics
- RCSC 6131 – Management and Leadership in Recreation and Sport
- SMGT 6132 – Legal Aspects of Sport Management
- SMGT 6133 – Sport Marketing and Public Relations
- SMGT 6136 – Financial Management in Sport
- SMGT 6250 – Revenue and Promotion Generation for the Sport Enterprise
One elective approved by the program coordinator, Dr. Warner.

This certificate is only available to ECU MBA students. The certificate can replace the electives component of the ECU MBA degree. ECU students should complete this form to add the certificate to their degree plan.
