School of Hospitality Leadership – Study Abroad Program

Sustainable Ireland Summer 2024

According to the United Nations Environment Programme and the World Tourism Organization, sustainable tourism can be defined as, “Tourism that takes full account of its current and future economic, social and environmental impacts, addressing the needs of visitors, the industry, the environment and host communities.”  Come with us to explore how Ireland embodies this form of responsible tourism that is good for the environment, good for the local community, and good for the tourist.

Dates: May 5-17, 2024

Cost: $3,930 plus airfare and $75 application fee.

6 credits available: undergraduate and/or graduate

Applications need to be submitted by January 31st , 2024.

Daly Legacy Scholarship ($5,000 awarded to undergraduate SHL student participating in SHL Summer Study Abroad Program)

Study Abroad in Switzerland (pdf)

ECU-SHL has partnered with Cesar Ritz College in Lucerne to offer our students an opportunity to study hospitality in Switzerland. Courses are taught in English and students will work with advisors to take courses that will transfer to ECU and the SHL curriculum requirements.
