Returning Students

Life happens. We understand that! That’s why our degree and certificate programs are built to be flexible around YOUR schedule.

Changing jobs. Getting married. Military service. Your family is expanding. These are just some of the reasons our students need to take a semester or more away from their academic studies or delay starting their program. When you’re ready, submit an online application form for readmission to the Graduate School. You should be able to use your same login credentials as before. If the system isn’t recognizing you, that’s not a problem;  just create a new username and password. Upload a current copy of your resume. All transcripts will still be on file – you don’t need to resubmit. All test scores and entrance exam waivers will still be on file – you don’t need to resubmit.

Most students who are reapplying will not need to pay the $75 application fee again. Options to reuse your previously-submitted application fee are available for applicants meeting certain criteria by emailing The application for readmission must be submitted prior to receiving an application fee promo code. However, in order for your application to be processed, you will need to submit your promo code on the Payment Page of your application. Applicants meeting one of the following criteria and who are re-applying for the same program are eligible for a fee promo code: 

  • Took a leave of absence from the program within the last 3 years.
  • Admitted to the program within the last year, but did not enroll.
  • Submitted an application within the last year, but did not complete it.
  • Completed an application within the last year, but did not receive an admission decision.

Students who have been dismissed from their program due to unsatisfactory academic performance must submit a new application fee when re-applying.
