Associate
Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP
Previous Positions: Law Clerk for the Honorable Judge Mark V. Holmes of the United States Tax Court
After graduating from ECU’s undergraduate accounting program in 2015 and its Masters of Accounting program in 2016, I continued my education at the University of North Carolina School of Law. At law school, I was Executive Articles Editor of the North Carolina Law Review and named the top tax student of the 2019 graduating class.
Following my graduation from law school, I clerked for the Honorable Judge Mark V. Holmes at the United States Tax Court in Washington, D.C. I am currently a tax associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in New York, NY.
ECU’s accounting program provided me with a strong foundation of both substantive knowledge and tools that helped me excel in law school. Being a C.P.A. allowed me to differentiate myself as I began my legal career. The relationships with peers and professors that were developed at ECU continue influence and support me as I continue on my professional path. I would not be where I am today without ECU’s accounting program.
